Cancel a Billing Record
Billing Records are created once a Contract has been Activated, and Activity related to that Contract's Lines have taken place. Invoices are created from Billing Records after activating a Billing Contract. To prevent invoicing, a Billing Record can be canceled from the Billing Records Hub.
Note
Once a Billing Record has been canceled, it cannot be restored.
Prerequisites
Step 1. Open the Billing Records Hub
1. Click the Billing int the left navigation menu, then select Billing Records.
The Billing Records Hub will display.
Step 2. Locate the Billing Record
1. Locate the Billing Record to be canceled and click the check box to select it.
Step 3. Cancel the Billing Record
1. Click the Cancel option in the top Billing Records tab toolbar.
2. Review the details, then click the purple Cancel Record(s) button.
The Billing Record cannot be restored and can only be viewed when filtering for Canceled records.
